General Discussion / Royal Mersey Regatta
« Last post by Hermes on June 07, 2018, 07:17:17 AM »
Great days racing at Royal Mersey on Saturday despite the drizzle, the lead boats position changing several times over a taxing course, our five Seabirds being the biggest visiting fleet, pity that other classes could not have made the Regatta

Due to the tall ships event and not having access to the prom and slipways from 10am on bank holiday Monday 28th May the mates race will have to be postponed.

Weather permitting it will now be held following RGP3 on Sunday 10th June with 2 short races taking place back to back.

General Discussion / Club Equipment
« Last post by AndyW on May 14, 2018, 08:43:28 AM »
Just a reminder for whoever broke the club trailer , any damage to equipment must be put right( don't just walk away and leave it). Last week the club trailer was left with a broken roller wheel (left in the back of the tractor). Unlike formula 1 we don't have a pit crew to put things right .However on this occasion  the roller was repaired in time for Bobolink to use the trailer yesterday .

Yesterdays turn out by members was excellent. The organisation worked out well, so the task was completed in what I would say was
record time. A big thank you to John Earp and the Club Captain for making the day such a success.

Just to remind all boat owners that now is the time to get your mooring ⛓bags ready for this season as we get nearer to the date for laying them, 💪£6 to £8 at the local building yard 😭or free when passing the builders skip, 👍if everyone picks up two then we will also have enough for the club mooring and marks as well, with some spares if needed.  👷‍♂️

« Last post by Bob B on January 27, 2018, 09:51:12 AM »
Hi folks.
If you are reading this you will know that the "new" website is now available.  It is by no means complete and will be tweaked over the next few weeks (months??).  This forum is also available for posts but be aware that there is no members only area yet so anything that you post will be in the public domain.
Cheers
